I kinda did something, but it's not your usual Organic flesh, tendrils, blood and gore...so I won't enter until you decide if it is viable for competing.
In my painting, it's the nature that prevails in the end. And nature is organic, right? If not, nevermind, I'll skip this round.
My proposition

All right, I'm back, hopefully I'll manage to finish my entry for this one. It's a challenging theme, I'll have to put a lot of effort in xD

WORK IN PROGRESS - It's an alien submarine ship tracking a family of whales EDIT - And I just realized it's not dark, and there is no abyss xD I disqualify myself xD

Duct-taped the sucker xD (my broken tablet pen) so I can sketch a little. I made this in ArtRage 3, because my Photoshop is protesting.

This is really a crude no-bling everything-is-hand-painted-on-one-layer type of image. It's not dark enough, because I don't know is it good enough to continue painting, maybe in Photoshop.

No reference, no textures, no custom stuff, I like to do everything manually.

Damn, damn, damn, damn, my Genius tablet's pen just broke! I hope Ill manage to get something done traditionally, I had a sweet idea.
Don't buy Genius, it's cheap plastic junk! Damn!

Oh, I understand completely. An alternative way is to post new blogs, group notifications or journals on #Luminarium group every round, so all watchers get to see what is the topic of the challenge, maybe thumbnails of current entries, and all. And all links could go to the forum. Don't mind me, I like to put suggestions on the table.

Is it OK if I submit this on dA, are there any rules about it?

Also, it'd be cool if you could expand the sketch wars to dA, so that people don't have to be members of +15 posts to be able to post in this sub-forum. I had trouble, because the forum would not change my group to Members +15 after I posted 16-17 posts. Smiling Demon helped me out so I can post. I bet there would be more entries if you tried to expand the challenge to dA, award some points to the winner, it's enough

Here's my entry, I had a good amount of free time, and I started this yesterday, I think, I really did not sleep a few days so I am not really sure.
These are some future fast and furious guys racing. The smaller craft in the foreground and the big shipbuilding have different perspectives on purpose. Not everything flies in the same plane xD
