Man do I miss plug.dj :(

One of my top favorite genres has become alike the good melody psybient, none of that techno crap that seems to get thrown in to that genera, but I have found many amazing ambient tracks that I enjoy a lot, but "Carbon Based Lifeforms" is one you should totally check out if you like ambient and inspiring music that has a lot of variation, or youtube psybient and skip thru all the upbeat ones, but that is more of my preference.

Yeah thats definitely one of the major details in my music, though I only spend maybe 4-6 hours a track, so I dont really put a lot of time in refining all of the sounds, though as I have gotten a lot of practice on learning how things mix, I think its easier for me to learn those finer tuning tricks to get everything to sound just right.

You can tell that some tracks were put together really quickly while others I felt more inspired to spend the time and work on balance and voracity ect.

And some I spend a lot more time on the beat than the melody, so its a mix of learning and have fun with it for me.

yea I got the medium myself, I think its the best for just about anything you would ever need a tablet for. Any larger and it becomes to uncomfortable for me, only because I am so used to drawing on paper that is about the same size, and it makes it easy to adjust to.

But if you have a much larger screen Im sure it would be easy to use I am using a 17inch laptop myself

Awesome! I think you did a great job on blending the elements together, maybe add something in the mid ground in the water, or try to bring the ball lower and closer to the observer.

UNIVERSE CONCEPT

I was wondering what the universe would look like if we took the idea of this:

And mixed it with the idea of the universe rotating around a center point. Possibly being able to see a paralleled universe in the background.

So far I've been working on a few brush's and experimenting what looks good, but I'm also looking at what doesn't work and still refining.
If the universe has networks like the picture above, than the complexity of the center would actually be a little different. Try to remember this would span farther than we can see and we wouldn't be able to see it without knowing the mathematics behind it, but my theory is that there is a center point, its just so far away that we have to look into the light that is bent and warped like in pictures like this:

Here's my concept

I don't want two homepages, I expect that today's standards could handle a small flash gallery. And for those who don't have it I will have a button that asks for users to download flash.

Other then the other ideas I haven't read through all of them I will get to it soon though, thanks for any ideas or concerns.

NEW HOMEPAGE

Every good site needs a good home page, we feel that our current home page lacks in user ability and we would like to put in anything that members feel would be beneficial and give more reason to stay on the home page longer for receiving information from events and news along with our recent exhibits.

If you have any good ideas for the new home page please let us know here!

What to expect on the home page as of now:

  • Latest Exhibit
  • News
  • Feature
  • Newest Artist Info
  • Navigation
  • About Us

Possible Ideas:

  • Flash Gallery - which will feature the best of the exhibit
  • Footer Navigation - instead of side bar

Yea, I checked some settings last night and made sure the 25 user post thing was working correctly and it was setup correctly, but as far as that goes any other spamming done please report to us so we can handle the users that are still able to use PM's.

I haven't received any spam in my inbox as of yet, but Im sure its a matter of time.

again, please let us know all the information about the PM so we can handle each case accordingly.

Thanks

I agree as well as the rays from the window, in most cases there wouldn't be any rays, because rays are made when you have many objects that light is passing through or when they are passing through dynamic cloud like objects that have density, but in this case it is just a window with one single obstacle from the light which is the center bar, so it would be two rays overall one for each window. And it would illuminate rather then focus in little rays, just a little detail I noticed tongue.gif overall nice piece.

haha no mate, just takes practice and dedication and thanks, didn't spend much time on those two elements so as you could imagine they aren't as refined as say the face.

Thanks for the input though smile.gif
