A showcase of my artwork using Vue. I know that it's pathetic compared to the amazing artists here - but this is what I want to change! Only started using Vue about a month ago, so I'm only at the experimenting stage.

Order from first piece ever to most recent.

You have a not bad start with these, especially the third. I would probably stay away from using animal and human vue models tho. The next step should be to start populating some of your stuff with plant life, and then seeing what you can do with them in photoshop afterwards smile.gif

Thanks man - yea I definitely wasn't planning on using those animal / human materials in the future - was just there for me to experiment XD

Hmm yea I'm on Vue now, definitely will attempt adding plant life, hopefully I'll get the hang of the ecosystem feature now.

Haha well good luck with it. Can't help you with the specifics of the program I'm afraid, but if you drop Finn or pritteeboy a PM with a query or two I'm sure they would be willing to help (as long as it isn't one every 20mins XD).

You have the atmosphere perfect!
I too agree that including animal or human models sort of takes the magic out of it a little...
With a scene like that, I think a few exotic trees and plants would look great! smile.gif
Maybe add in some moving life elements with photoshop afterwards smile.gif

I do like Vue.. I wish I could use it on my PC... If I tried to install that on it it would just laugh and spit it back out -.-

Haha, welcome to my world! biggrin.gif

I figured that with my current specs, it becomes ridiculous to prepare and render a scene. The time can be better spent with painting... takes a while to get into it (and I'm obviously far from decent tongue.gif) but, at least for me, it's much faster than spending 20h setting up the scene (pretty much 2h doing stuff and 18h idling) and rendering for another 80-100h xD

It's a 3D-program that focuses on creating landscapes and other naturally looking environments. It's possible to use it for modeling up to a certain extent as well but Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, and the like are much better for that wink.gif

Thanks for the clarification =) I thought they were extremely detailed and real to be a digital painting.
In my opinion you're doing great, nice atmosphere in every work, I'm looking forward to seeing more of you.
